Varavil is business software for small businesses in India. Raise invoices, keep your books, and see who owes you money, in one place you can open from any device.

What it does

• GST invoices. Make tax invoices with the GST worked out for you, keep your numbering in order, and save or print each one.
• Who owes you. Give Varavil your unpaid-invoice list and it shows who has not paid, so you chase the oldest and biggest first.
• Quotations and enquiries. Keep every quotation you send and every enquiry you receive in one list, and see which ones have gone quiet so nobody is forgotten. Add items from a price list and the total, with GST, is worked out for you.
• Reminders you send yourself. When someone needs a nudge, Varavil drafts a short message from facts you have entered. You read it and you send it. Varavil never contacts your customers.
• Simple books. A day book, ledgers, a profit and loss and a balance sheet, added up from entries you can open and check.
• Works with your accountant. Your auditor or chartered accountant gets a free seat of their own, and every change is recorded with who made it and when.
• Excel in, Excel out. Bring in your quotations, enquiries and unpaid lists from an Excel or CSV file, and download your registers and books to Excel.

2. Bring in your work. Import your quotations and unpaid invoices from Excel, or type the first few in.
3. See who to chase today. Varavil lists who owes you and who has gone quiet, and drafts the message. You press send.

One plan, one price

Varavil Collect. Every new company starts with a free trial of 30 days, up to 3 users, no card. Varavil Collect is ₹3,490 a year or ₹349 a month.

• 3 users (the owner counts as one), plus a free seat for your auditor or chartered accountant
• GST invoices, simple books, who-owes-you list, and follow-up of quotations and enquiries
• An extra user is ₹99 a month
• No GST is added to the price, and a plan never renews by itself

Varavil Books, our full accounting plan for more users and GSTINs, is not yet on sale. You pay online through Razorpay (card, UPI or netbanking). Your plan is switched on within minutes of payment, and no later than one working day.

What is Varavil?

Business software for small businesses in India that runs in your web browser. You raise GST invoices, keep simple books, and see who owes you money. Varavil is made and run by one person in Chennai.

Do you sell or share my customers' details?

No. Varavil does not find, buy, sell or supply customer lists or phone numbers, and it shows no advertising. Every customer, quotation and enquiry in it is one you enter or import yourself, and it stays yours.

How much does it cost?

The first 30 days are free, with no card. After that Varavil Collect is ₹3,490 a year or ₹349 a month. No GST is added, because the operator of Varavil is not registered for GST.

Does it renew by itself?

No. A plan runs for the period you paid for and then stops. We never charge you again unless you choose to pay. After a paid period ends you have 7 more days to renew before your books become read-only.

What happens to my data if I stop paying?

It is never deleted. After the trial or a paid period ends, your books stay on our servers, readable and downloadable. Adding or changing things pauses until you choose a plan.

Where is my data kept?

On Google Cloud's Firestore database in Mumbai, India, encrypted in transit and at rest. Each company's books are kept apart from every other customer's.

Can my accountant use it?

Yes. Each plan includes one free seat for your auditor or chartered accountant, and every change is recorded with who made it.

Does Varavil send messages to my customers?

Never. It drafts a reminder from facts you have entered, you read it, and you send it yourself.

How do I pay, and can I get a refund?

You pay online through Razorpay, in the app under Settings. If Varavil is not right for you, tell us within 7 days of buying a plan and we refund the full amount.
